Somehow I don't think me going to a place like this is a good idea. But we're already here, right...?

We're already here! We really might as well enjoy ourselves. I mean, I don't think we'll get a trip like this for a while, y'know?

Yeah, I know. I mean. I'm sure we can find something fun to do... w-we were really lucky, too, with that money right before, so--

[bombgasmic]

We sure were. We don't have to worry about where we're staying, or what we're eating.

... Did you find anything you wanted for dinner, today?

I-it's nice not to have to worry after everything that's been going on...

I'll go wherever you want. I'm okay.

[She's huffy.]

Well, then, how about this one.

[She will point to an Italian place on the map she spreads out between them, tapping it with her finger, leaning over toward Jacuzzi to reach it better since it's closer to him.]

[gunhearted]

[He smiles at her. Don't be huffy.] Sure. It seems like it's gonna be a nice place. [He unbuckles his seat belt are we going to go???]

[bombgasmic]

[No she's still huffy. But she nods, and she takes one more look at the map to memorize the directions.]

Here, let me just get something out of the glove compartment--

[Leaning over a bit more, now.]

[gunhearted]

[THAT'S CLOSE NICE. That's really close oh my god his heart thuds for a seconds, his hand frozen on the door handle, with the door already cracked and he feels the heat rising and it's in his face and ears and he must be all sorts of funny colors right now, but he'll wait for her to get what she needs to get then he should open the door and get out and pretend his heart didn't stop beating for a few seconds.]

[She gets what she needs fairly quickly! It's just a smaller map; the booklet type instead of the big old one they've been using in the car. She looks up at him and smiles as she backs herself up.]

[gunhearted]

[He looks so uncomfortable when she looks at him. He fidgets a little.] H-hey, Nice...

[bombgasmic]

[She blinks.] Yeah?

[gunhearted]

[Jacuzzi Splot is not a man of action. But for just a second, it's better than not being one. For just a second there's something that he feels like if he doesn't do it, he'll regret it for the rest of his life. So he very gently takes her hand and pulls her very gently to be a little closer to him.

And he leans over and kisses her straight on the mouth.

And he pulls away just as quickly as he leaned in and he stares at her for a very brief second, before realizing he definitely did a thing he should've asked before doing. And so he immediately releases her hand and pushes the door open the rest of the way to get out.]

[bombgasmic]

[She's frozen, for a moment, eyes opened and staring at him as he pulls away. But she's quick to recover and she calls out after him as he scrambles out of the car, her hands already working on unbuckling her own seat belt, opening the door on her side and getting out as well. She just remembers to close both their doors and lock the car before running after him.] Jacuzzi!

[gunhearted]

[Ah, no, don't do that. He shut the door at least!!! He's just walking at a fast pace trying to pretend that was not something that definitely just happened. He's not so much running away from her. Just walking away from her. Walking very fast.

He's trying not to look like a dog that just got caught doing something bad when she catches up. He's trying really hard.]

[bombgasmic]

Jacuzzi...

[She doesn't touch him. She doesn't make any more sudden moves. She takes a deep breath, let's it out, and she just stands in front of him.]

You can't just run away after doing something like that... you know, at least not before you let me respond.

[gunhearted]

[Yes he can he can just run away after kissing her that's something he can do and definitely just did.]

I-I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight--! I messed everything up, I didn't want to push something like that on you, Nice. I'm really sorry...

[bombgasmic]

[She listens, and then she smiles gently, reaching over and taking his hands in hers and tugging her to the side of the street so they're out of people's way.]

... You know, Jacuzzi? There was something I was thinking about these past few days.

[gunhearted]

[Well she's not hitting him and she doesn't seem upset. He's still tentative about it.]

W-what is it?

[bombgasmic]

I worried as I we got to know each other, what if I was feeling this way about you because I knew you in my past life? How much was me, and how much is the other Nice?

[She squeezes his hand.]

But you know? I was thinking about it. I don't think Nice's feelings are separate from mine. I like you all the same, even if some of it's carried over from the past. You still make me happy when I'm with you.
